Why most visibility advice fails women

Why most visibility advice fails women

[FIRST NAME GOES HERE], by now you probably already know visibility matters.

But the problem is – most visibility advice doesn’t work for women.

Not because women are doing something wrong or because they are less capable, but because that advice was never designed for them in the first place.

And this is the part that truly saddens me.

Think about the kind of advice you’ve heard:
“Speak up more.”
“Be more confident.”
“Be more assertive.”

On the surface, it sounds simple. Logical, even.

And for men, in many cases, it works.

Because those traits – being bold, outspoken, risk-taking – are often encouraged and rewarded in men.

But for women, the same traits are judged differently.

You’re expected to contribute…but not dominate.

To be confident…but still likable.

To speak up…but not be too much.

It’s a narrow, often unspoken line. And most women have been facing this double bind their entire career – without ever having the words to name it.

And so it creates a frustrating loop:

Where you either hold yourself back, or push yourself in ways that don’t feel like you…
and still don’t get the outcomes you were hoping for.

Over time, it starts to feel internal.

Like maybe you’re the problem.
Like maybe visibility just isn’t “your thing.”

But that’s not true.

The real problem is this:
You were never given a framework for visibility that actually matches your reality.

One that accounts for how organizations work today.
One that respects how women are perceived and evaluated in the modern workplace.
And one that helps you show up powerfully – without feeling like you’re performing or pretending.

That’s exactly why I created the mini-course Recognized.

Not another webinar or generic advice – but a tailored approach designed specifically for women navigating workspaces that are structurally biased towards men.

Inside Recognized, you’ll learn:

  • The different stages of visibility (so you stop guessing what to do next and become clear on your precise next move based on exactly where you stand)
  • Why you keep pulling back – even when you know what to do.
  • And how to build visibility in a way that feels aligned, credible, and sustainable

Along with the 3Ps framework that women across organizations have used to get seen, valued, and trusted with bigger opportunities..

You can join Recognized today for ₹999 (only the last few days to avail the Founding member’s price, which is the lowest price this course will ever be).

Warmly,

Bhavna
