[Live Masterclass] Your Replay inside
Hi, yesterday was one of those sessions I’ll be thinking about for a while.
Women joined us from all over – Hyderabad, Bangalore, Pune, Gurgaon, Delhi, Noida…and even Prague. The energy in the room from the very first minute told me this was going to be a good one.

1. Your work is excellent. Your positioning is not.
Most women describe themselves by their job title. Senior leaders make decisions based on impact. When you cannot answer “I am the person who…” in one clear sentence – you are invisible to the people who matter most to your career. Not because your work isn’t good enough. But because your positioning isn’t speaking for it.
2. The right people don’t know your name yet.
Having a network and having a network that advocates for you are two completely different things. Yesterday we talked about the difference between a contact and a sponsor – someone with influence who says your name in rooms you are not in. Most women have contacts. Very few have sponsors. That gap is often the entire difference between being considered and being overlooked.
3. Proof is the visibility move most women forget entirely.
You can be brilliantly positioned and deeply connected, and still lose ground if there is no visible evidence of your performance and potential. Speaking up in meetings. Sharing a perspective on LinkedIn. Asking a question at an all-hands. These are not small acts. They are the proof points that build the trust senior leaders need before they put your name forward.
