Dear Friend,

WHAT IF you expressed yourself more often without worrying about what people might think?

Take a moment, and really think about it – if you were to share more of yourself with the world,

Who would you be?
How would you be?
What would you do?

Now I’m sure, probably one of the thoughts coming to you is…

“Yes, but what if I talk about my work and people think I’m bragging?” OR
“…but what if I share my thoughts and people think I have no idea what I’m talking about?” OR
“…but what if I start posting regularly online and people get annoyed with me and start to unfriend/unsubscribe/unfollow me?”

If I had a penny for every time I have had every single one of these thoughts over the last few years of posting regularly on LinkedIn, I would be a rich woman!

And these are the same thoughts I hear over and over again from the many brilliant women I have had the distinct honor of taking through our programs over the years.

Women who are incredibly competent, creative, and are doing important work, yet they hold back from sharing their voice with the world for all of these reasons and more.

Here is what I want to say to you – I am sure there will always be 10% – 20% of people who don’t agree with you or support your ideas.

But, you know what the remaining 80% will think?

👉 Here is a woman who has an important message to share.
👉 Here is a woman who is not afraid to shine with all her brilliance, and in the process illuminate others around her as well.
👉 Here is a woman who knows that someone, somewhere needs to hear what she has to say, and in allowing herself to step up with courage, she is helping others to do the same.

So, here is my call to action to you, share your work and your ideas more.

Give yourself the permission to be seen, to be heard, and to be admired.

You don’t need to wait for permission from others. You can do that for yourself.

Because when you do,

🙂You open up opportunities that you did not even believe would be possible for you
🙂You broaden the platform over which you make an impact
🙂You experience greater confidence in yourself, knowing that you and your work matter

Warmly,
